Exciting News...............

For the last 18 months I have been in talks with a local South Yorkshire Football club, about developing kids  birthday parties.

I feel for the future of the club, and for the health and fitness of the next generation it is important to get the children interested in sport at an early age.

If children feel involved with a club, they will attend the games, maybe join the young supporters club and also play football in the park with there friends, both helping the club and also keeping themselves fit.

Today my exciting news has been announced for all to read, it has been so hard keeping it a secret for the last 3 weeks.

I will be officially working with Doncaster Rovers, helping them run Non Match day parties, they are available to book immediately

Tips for Organising a top event

I keep being asked for tips on organising the perfect event
  1. Set a budget and stick to it, (no point in breaking the bank to celebrate)
  2. If having a theme, stick to something manageable, and achievable within your budget
  3. Write lists to keep on top of everything you need to do
  4. leave yourself plenty of time to get everything done
  5. Call in favours from friends and family
  6. If doing your own catering, keep it simple, you want to enjoy the event 
  7. Of course you can always call in the specialists, we are more than happy to run your events for you, no matter how big or small

Exciting times ahead.............

I have just realised it has been over 2 months since I last put a blog post out there.

As most people know by now, I am now working along side The Network, a business to business networking group in Sheffield, and this is just going through an expansion faze which now includes business courses, and a B2B magazine, as well as several different networking groups through out South Yorkshire.
The Network is also hoping to play to my strengths and after the success of our recent Yorkshire Day business exhibition we are hoping to have several more business exhibitions and other types of events.

Scarlett Parties is also going through a very exciting time at the moment, we have just taken on 2 very large bookings as well as several smaller ones which should keep us out of mischief for a while.
We hope to have some more exciting news for you shortly, just in talks at the moment, so its very hush hush.

Affordable advertising opportunity

I have just been told about a fantastic advertising opportunity for people who live in and around South Yorkshire. I have taken the offer up already

A local charity adult training provider (MaTReC) in Sheffield is celebrating their 25th Anniversary, and part of the festivities a brochure is going to print.

The brochure is A5 and has a few spaces available for businesses to advertise, rates start from £15, they already have businesses such as Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, Activity Sheffield interested in advertising.

Today is all about sharing your love................ I have had another fantastic testimonial today

I created a fantastic Santas grotto for a Winter Festival back in December, I have recieved this lovely testimonial........................................................... 

Scarlett Parties arranged the Santa’s Grotto at Heeley City Farm’s Winter Festival 2011. The idea was to turn the reconstruction of an Iron Age Roundhouse, into an enchanting Santa’s Grotto, hidden away in the woodlands. During the short woodland walk to the grotto, Becki from Scarlett Parties put up pictures of Christmas items, for the children to spot and fill in accompanying work sheets before meeting Santa (which when it wasn’t raining was an enjoyable activity for both the children and parents!).

Becki arrived early that day, to decorate and furnish the grotto (Christmas decorations, Christmas tree, side table with half eaten mince pie etc.), and make it look like Santa’s front room. There was even a mailbox for the children to post their wish lists to Santa!

The whole thing was a fantastic success, the children loved it, and Becki returned at the end of the day to help pack up. A fantastic service. Thanks.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer my recent online survey.
I was very surprised that a lot of people still have the traditional Almond for their wedding favours, but got some fantastic feed back and ideas about the modern alternatives.

Celebration Bags Testimonial

When we decided to start doing a new range of celebration bags, at the turn of the new year,
we didn't think they would take off straight away, but within two days of them being advertised, i had received my first order.

Happy New Year and new products and services

Happy New Year and welcome to 2012!

What an exciting year we have in prospect, the Olympics are coming, it is the Euro football championships, and it is also the Queens Diamond Jubille.
Lots of excuses for a party!!!!
We have a new range to introduce to the world this year. We are now going to be offering celebration bags, for all occasions.
I kept being asked to supply gift bags for children attending weddings and christenings to say thank you and also to keep them entertained, but up until December I had always declined the requests.

We are able to offer bespoke bags, co-ordinated with most colours, and to fit all prices and age groups.
The first of these orders has been completed today, the bridesmaid will be wearing Claret, so of course the celebration bags are themed in gold and claret.

The age range of the children is from 10 months to 9 years.

We are also offering a new service, a reminder service, if you email a list of all your important date, we will send you a reminder email approx two weeks in advance, to insure you never forget ever again.
